Blessed Carlos Acutis
Carlo Acutis was born in London on May 3, 1991. His family moved to Milan when he was very young and he attended an Italian Catholic school. He developed an interest in computers and became an amateur programmer.
He was diagnosed with leukemia early in his teenage years. He had a love for the Church and devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Eucharist. He spent the rest of his young life documenting and cataloging Eucharistic miracles from around the world on a website he created.
He succumbed to leukemia on October 12, 2006. Pope Francis beatified him on October 10, 2020, and proclaimed him the Patron Saint of the Internet.
