Our Lady of Medugorje (1981)

In June 1981, 6 children in Medugorje, Bosnia reportedly began to experience visions of the Blessed Mother.  They have stated that during her apparitions she asks for all to pray for peace in the world, and calling all to conversion through prayer and fasting.   According to the visionaries the Blessed Mother tells us that God has sent Her to our world, and these years She is spending with us are a time of Grace granted by God. In Her own words She tells us, “I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is the fullness of life, and to enjoy this fullness and peace, you must return to God”.  The Blessed Mother is known as Our Lady of Medjugorje.
