Mass marks 2017 Black Catholic History Month

The  Office of Multicultural Diversity of the Diocese of Rockville Centre hosted a healing Mass in observance of National Black Catholic History Month, November 12 at St. Martha Church in Uniondale. Father Alonzo Cox, coordinator of the Vicariate of Black Catholic Concerns for the Diocese of Brooklyn was the main celebrant.  Worshippers had an opportunity to venerate a first-class relic of St. Padre Pio after the Mass.
