I am a Black Catholic convert and believe the church must address racism now

I grew up in a small town in southern Georgia and saw many forms of racism that I did not truly grasp until I was older. These ranged from the Confederate flag flying all over town to one of my childhood friends telling me that “white birds should fly with white birds and blackbirds should fly with blackbirds” when I asked her out on a date.   Read more…..
