Renouveau Charismatique Catholique des Haitiens d’Outre-Mer
The first meeting of Charismatic Renewal leaders among the Haitian community in the U.S. was held in New York in November of 1990. Le Conseil du Renouveau Charismatique Catholique des Haïtiens d’Outre-Mer was formed at this meeting.
Charismatic prayer meetings are held weekly in many churches across the globe. Le Conseil hosts an annual spiritual weekend of formation for the prayer group leaders. National monthly gatherings are held to continue to nurture the faith of members of the prayer groups.
Charismatic congresses have been held since 1992 all over the eastern seaboard. In 1992, 1997, 2002, and 2017 Le Conseil du Renouveau Charismatique Catholique des Haïtiens d’Outre-Mer collaborated on the National Catholic Charismatic Renewal Conference in Pittsburgh. In 1996 and 2007 Le Conseil du Renouveau Charismatique Catholique des Haïtiens d’Outre-Mer served as a sponsor of the National Catholic Charismatic Renewal Congress held in New Jersey.
