Scranton Charismatic Weekend

Catholic Charismatics have been gathering in Scranton, Pennsylvania for more than 3 decades to engage in a weekend of Holy Spirit-filled preaching, teaching, worship, and prayer. This weekend is special to the West Indian Charismatics of the Diaspora.
Teaching and preaching are done by leading national and international charismatic speakers such as Fr. John Gordon, Fr. Urban Hudlin, O.P., Msgr. William John-Lewis (Domenica), Monsignor Joseph Malagreca, Fr. Richard MacAlear, Fr. Trevor Natasingh (Trinidad), Fr. Anthony Ozele (Nigeria), Deacon Larry Oney, Dr. Mary Healey, Kathleen McCarthy, Maria Vadia (Cuba) , and Bob Valiante, just to name a few.
Praise and Worship are led by a contemporary music ministry whose songs are spiritually uplifting and hummed all the way home.
Mass is celebrated daily, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available. Eucharistic Adoration and procession with the Blessed Sacrament are celebrated on Saturday night with the entire adult assembly.
Later on Saturday night, many attendees meet up on the hill to continue the praise with Caribbean music.
